Vineyard
Teliani Valley cellar is located in Telavi, Kakheti, which is a heart of Georgian winemaking. Our own vineyards are planted at a total surface of 700 hectares, mainly located in microzones. The particular position of the vineyards, the soil and the climat contribute to creating characteristic wines.
The entire winemaking process, bottling and ageing takes place here.

Imereti
Imereti, located in West is the second wine growing regions of Georgia with the dominance of Tsolikouri, Tstiska and Krakhuna for the whites and Otskhanuri Sapere and Aladasturi for the reds.
Imereti is divided into three micro-districts: Upper, Middle and Lower Imereti. 70% of the area is mountainous, both climatic conditions and soil composition are different in each micro-district.
Imeretian white wines are basically made in classical style and have fresh aromatic profile and lively acidity. Different from Kakhetian skin contact whites, Imeretians macerate their whites on about 30% of skins, no stems and for about a month, whereas Kakhetian style maceration is on 100% skins and stems of Rkatsiteli and stays for 6 months in Qvevri.
